With great sadness I have decided to close the training school.
On the 10th August I went into hospital for a heart checkup, they decided to keep me in as I needed a new valve fitted ASAP. A special thanks to all the staff at Kettering and then the Glenfield hospital at Leicester who carried out the open heart surgery and saved my life. It’s going to be a few months to get back on a bike and that’s why I have decided to make this decision not to carry on.
I have been teaching since 2001 and think it’s time to call a day. I have enjoyed every minute of my time as Academy Bikes and loved seeing all of my students passing their tests and getting on the road. It’s been a great time to meet you all and I thank you for all your support and your business.
Be safe out there.
Geoff
